A MINUTE IN MONACO

Andrey and the girls
The Russian James Bond - Andrey Vavilov attended the UNEP GC.10/GMEF (governing council - global ministerial environment forum) with his bond girls: Xenya the leader, Olivia the dwarf, Leila the camera carrier, Cecila the runner and Claudia the newbie!

His Serene Highness, Prince Albert II of Monaco came to pay him tribute both on Wednesday during the opening ceremony, and Friday, at the closing plenary - here as seen from the ENB table (with no zoom required).

In a closer shot taken by Leila, GMEF President Robles and UNEP Executive Director Steiner flank a dashing looking fellow.

MOMIX - A CUP OF TEA ON SUNDAY?

Momix Passion picture, poached from http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/11/arts/dance/11momi.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

I can guarantee that they were naked. Those boobs bobbing up and down and being squashed against men's buttocks were not covered. I know, I was two rows from the stage. Needless to say that Cristian stayed awake and I understood why Marco refused to buy the cheaper tickets further down the theatre!

Momix certainly had Passion to share with the audience and their show was well-received (since when does Italy not applaud naked breasts?). It was a stunning performance but I found the different sequences disjointed and would have preferred some kind of threat throughout.

Then again, I suppose we were simply lucky to be able to see performers of such caliber in Santa Maria degli Angeli - under Assisi ----- "as opposed to at the Cavallino Bianco strip club," as Cristian put it!

SHROVE, SHRIVE, SHRIVELLED

Yesterday was Shrove Tuesday - so we repented and had lots and lots of pancakes with raclette cheese and parma ham, and cheese and pesto, and lemon and sugar, and... then we felt ultra sick!

But that means that I am now ready to give up not only chocolate, as i usually do before Easter, but also beer!!!! impossible to give up wine as we are going wine tasting tomorrow night:

The Molesini-Fufluns initiative might signal a new era of eno-gastronomy!
